Summer Excursions | Lake Shrine, Santa Barbara, Providence, & Newport

Curating a space to look and feel a certain way is a feat when done right and with precision. Rock formations by an oceanside or a vast horizon hugging the sea beneath it are forms that Nature’s inbuilt mechanisms perfected long ago.

I was very impressed with The Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine in the Pacific Palisades, CA, and enjoyed the friendly city of Santa Barbara, and Santa Monica.

There’s much to say about Providence and Newport, Rhode Island, too. The breathtaking mansions (The Breakers and The Marble House) are what caught my eye.

The Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine & Santa Barbara

There’s an undeniable elegance to our planet. While there’s arguably not much we can contribute to nature’s design, it’s fun to think what else can be achieved.

Providence, RI, & the Newport Mansions

The craftsmanship these buildings were made with, the seaside cliffs where they’re located, and the resources that required their maintenance was a beautiful site to see and experience.
